Many members at the Border Curling Club were lucky enough to win a “big” turkey at their annual Turkey Bonspiel. A pot luck supper was held before the finals and a band played 50’s music after the prizes were presented. Andrew Retchless presented the turkeys to the winning teams and mentioned that the overall winner included two junior curlers along with their skip “Junior” Camber. Maitland Warner’s team did not include any juniors but had a great time nevertheless. The B winning team included another Camber (Sharon playing 3rd) for Doug Phillips-Hamblett as Skip.
